There are three companies providing distributorship of LPG in India, first is Indian Oil Corporation Limited which provides distributorship in the name of Inden Gas, second is Bharat Petroleum, which provides distributorship in the name of Bharat Gas. And the third is Hindustan Petroleum, which provides distributorship. In the name of HP gas.
Apply in this way To get
distributorship one has to apply online on the company’s website and after that an interview is conducted on whose name the distributorship is to be taken. Based on this interview the company decides whether you will be given distributorship or not.
Distributorships are available in these different areas
LPG distributorships are offered at three levels namely metro city, rural area and municipal. Along with this, licenses are also issued at domestic LPG and commercial level.
The following points are observed to check the location where
the distributorship is to be opened there must be an all weather vehicular access road.
It is suitable if the land is in your name otherwise it should be on lease for at least 15 years.
If you are selected for licensing, you will have to build your own warehouse.
Eligibility for Application
- – To take up distributorship, you must first be an Indian citizen.
- – Applicant must be 10th pass.
- – Age should be between 21 to 60 years.
- – No member of the family should be employed in an oil marketing company.
- – An application fee of Rs 10,000 has to be paid to apply for gas agency.
